Welcome to the Terrie Hess Child Advocacy Center, serving Rowan County, North Carolina. We support child victims of abuse and their non-offending caregivers with critical in-house services at our nationally accredited facility. We offer free youth and adult education and support opportunities to teach our community about preventing child abuse.

The mission of the Terrie Hess Child Advocacy Center is to serve the needs of children and families by utilizing best practices in prevention, investigation, prosecution, and healing child abuse.
I Need Services
All services are provided at absolutely no cost to the client or their families. We serve all children aged birth to 17 regardless of their race, religion, gender, gender identity, or socio-economic background.
Parent Resources
We offer a variety of free programs to support Rowan County, NC, parents, guardians, child caregivers, and soon-to-be parents.
